Realtors are compensated by sellers and builders.  Because of this fact, it is in a buyer's best interest to work with a realtor.  Why choose a realtor?  Take a look at my summary below. In preconstruction properties, compensation given to agents by the builder is part of their marketing fee and is built in to the price of every home. Builders promote, and encourage real estate agent participation. Price for you will be the same with or without a Realtor.
